Tell us something about yourself (Name, Nationality,Age,Hobbies, etc): Hello good people! My name is Thanos (yeah, the same one as the marvel villain), I hail from Greece and currently I'm 21. Main hobby (obviously) is WoW, but I never say no to things like basketball, billiards, bowling or just a casual walk. Last but not least, currently studying for my bachelor's degree in electronic engineering.
What is your proudest moment in WoW? Please provide us with some warcraftlogs as well: In Legion at least, it has to be every time I got a top 10 feral parse, I'm pretty sure! A few imgurs I managed to dig up: https://imgur.com/a/47iAt / https://imgur.com/a/uGh8t - I've also got several top 10 parses since EN, check here: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/character/eu/darksorrow/cyanic# | Keep in mind, you could cheese the logs SO much near the end of mythic NH, so I ended up with 94. Once Gul'dan died, I couldn't be bothered with logs anymore. And the whole "cheesing the logs" thing seemed quite pointless, since ToS was just around the corner.
What is your guild history? Be honest we'll do our research anyway: It all started when I created my druid, back in 2009. Near the end of WotLK, I ended up having 12/12 on normal 10 and 25, around 11/12 on 10 man heroic and 6/12 on 25 man heroic. I was 13-14 at the time and lied that I was older so I'd get picked for as many heroic runs as possible. Being 18+ was a BIG bonus back then, and being willing to push back then, I was forced to lie. Sadly I didn't make it further. Then, I quit the game for the 1st year of Cata, then came back. As you can tell, I still had gear from ICC and, since I had no connections whatsoever (my ICC guild had disbanded a few months beforehand), I decided to dabble in PvP. It was then that I managed to learn the little details of improving feral play. Near the end of MoP, I was boosting in 2's for gold, which paid for my pandaria challenge mode transmog! In WoD, I reached around 2500 rating in 3's, missing Gladiator by around 80 points or so. Then in Legion, I decided it was time to return to PvE. First, I was accepted into Semantics, and I progressed with them smoothly through EN and a little bit in ToV. The guild disbanded when we reached Botanist. Once that happened, I joined The Nephilim. Pretty cool guild and folks, I finished NH with them, then we kept going through ToS. Unfortunate roster issues caused the guild to cease raiding. After them, I joined Death and Glory, since I have a lot of IRL friends in there, being Greek myself. The company was great, the atmosphere is really nice however they lack the raid progression I'm looking for, so I left.
Do you have a working mic?: Yes
Do you know how to use warcraftlogs in depth?: Yes
Post a screenshot of your UI with everything on "config/setup" mode: I'm using the default Blizzard UI for the most part, after PvP'ing all these years it has grown on me. I only use these 3 WA's you see on the screen. I also use BigWigs, which barely use up any screen space. Link: https://imgur.com/a/YzT7a
It is not required but.. any alts?: Sadly, no. I do plan to level up characters for the next expansion, so in case something looks really strong, I can switch to that. If it's of any importance, I really like Guardian, although I lack the experience. I can tank like 14's, but I'm not really familiar with ToS mechanics.
Other than this application, how can we contact you? : This battletag! Claws#2762
Last but not least, why do you think we should recruit you? What makes you stand out?: Honestly, with all the pruning that's been going on in past few years, I don't think many things will make you stand out. But I'm dedicated, always willing to learn, take criticism and consistently adapt and improve. The final decision is up to the officers / GM of the guild! I hope to see you in-game!
