Hello. First of all I want to thank you for taking the time to read my application.
- Personal information:
Name: Nicola Velev
Battle tag: Freeway#2530
I am currently working for my self from home, which makes my time management very easy to handle.
I am playing mostly 10+ hours per day, due to being at home most of the time. With that being said – yeah I’d like to find people that share the same passion for the game as I do J
Well my girlfriend is not very happy about that :P
About my hobbies ( well we all know what is the biggest one :P ), I am quite a football fan. Been ever since I can remember. Arsenal fan in particular. Gooners for life !
Before you start reading further, I think here is the spot to say that the character I am applying with is exactly 3 weeks old and everything you see as gear, traits and progression has been made in the past 21 days. I have 13 days play time out of these 21 days, so you can say I am really trying to get in shape for upcoming patch.
- Character information:
Off spec: Windwalker / Brewmaster

My logs are shit, due to being made in progression raids with my current guild.
The only thing that doesn’t show up on the screen is my DBM timers.

Usually I play between 45-50 ms on Neptulon.
And yes I have working microphone.
- World of Warcraft history and guild history:
I started playing the game back in 2005 here on Neptulon.
I leveled up a rogue and started looking for a guild. Sadly at that point I realized that there are so much rogues on the server back then , that no guild would take me, because they had their rosters full of rogues.
Then a friend of mine told me that they need healers in their guild, so I didn’t think twice and leveled a priest.
The name of the guild was Hypnotic and I was with them until early TBC.
Although I was only 14 years old, I was very mature for my age and very dedicate towards raiding, so I was put in charge of the healing setup.
We managed to clear Zul’Gurub, Molten Core, Black Wing Lair, AQ 20 and AQ 40. Sadly when Naxxramas was released we managed to kill only 6 bosses before the expansion hit us.
The Burning Crusade
When TBC came, I didn’t think twice and I rerolled again to my beloved rogue, which I was using as an alt during Vanilla. Few months after the release Hypnotic disbanded due to some management decisions plus some core members left the guild.
Then with few friends and some other players we merged two guilds into guild called Rise Against. I raided few months with them, but later on I realized that this guild is not what I am looking for ( and I am looking for dedicated people in raids who do not hesitated to do what is necessary in order one guild to be a successful one).
At this time there was a new formed guild called United Relaunched and I’ve decided to give it a shot, because I am the fan of the new.
There I met some exceptional people and players, which I don’t think I will ever forget.
We ( United ) cleared everything possible in TBC, starting from Serpentshrine Cavern till the very end of Black Temple and Sunwell Plateau.
The Wrath of the Lich King
Still in United me and my guild mates continued to play on very high standard until one day as many of you know there was a free migration window and most of the top guilds decided to leave to Jaedenar, because Neptulon was a very laggy server at this time.
My guild decided that we don’t want to move yet, because we all knew this server so well, and our friends was here as well. So we kept playing here and we cleared everything possible for this period which was only Naxx10/25, Malygos and also server first Sartharion 25m 3 drakes.
After that we had some troubles finding new players that can give something to the guild so we all decided that is best for us to move to Jaedenar as well. There we had an agreement with another guild to merge with them and so we made our new guild called Verdict.
With them the progress was very good and we managed to clear everything possible including Ulduar hard modes as well as ToC.
In Icecrown Citadel we cleared everything 10/25 man on heroic ( Professor Putricide 25 man heroic – 91 in the world ).
Sadly two weeks after that amazing progress in ICC our guild master decided that we are too good and started yelling and kicking people from the guild during our progress on Lich King, including our Raid Leader.
So basically the guild disbanded from this moment on.
Saddest moment of my life, one of the best guilds I’ve ever seen to fall down, because of one person.
I stopped playing 1 month before Cataclysm release, because I had to work and didn’t have time to play. When I came back on Cata, I just didn’t see the game I used to see it. It was boring and all … somehow soulless if you know what I mean.
I came back to the game when Dragon Soul was already released so I had missed most of this expansion.
Verdict didn’t exist anymore so I’ve decided to reroll to the horde side, and try my luck “out there”
I found a guild called Apex and played with them for around 2 months in which I cleared DS heroic except Deathwing. Got so bored of the game, there was nothing new for me, not even the PVP part, so I’ve decided to quit the game.
The Mists of Pandaria
Four months after the release of Pandaria I was still disappointed in WoW, but I’ve decided to give it a try.
I leveled new rogue on a brand new server where I wanted to explore the game.
I just dinged level 90, when an old friend of mine from Neptulon contacted me and said that he has a raiding guild and he needs 1 more experienced player.
Problem again was that were in need of range DPS so I’ve decided to level up a hunter.
So I leveled up one and started raiding with them.
The name of the guild was Adore. Two weeks after I joined them I realized that even most of them are my old friends, they are very casual guild and my goals are not met along theirs.
So I applied to guild The Nephillim, I am sure most of you know them.
They accepted me and I started raiding with them. The progress was excellent, I finally had found a players that are dedicated towards raiding.
We managed to clear full Throne of Thunder heroic including Ra-Den. Sadly I was on the whole progress during Lei-Shen ( including 4% wipe ) and when we were suppose to kill him on the next day … voalla , no internet. I missed both Lei-Shen and Ra-den kills.
The next week Siege of Ogrimmar was released so I didn’t get the achievement …
Two weeks after SoO I had to stop the game for few weeks, due to travelling and I went social.
Basically I quit the game after that, but my hunter is still in their guild as social member.
Warlords of Draenor
I was really busy during early expansion, so I was basically casual raider with some pugs and friends.
Didn’t want to commit to raiding with Nephillim and not show up for raids.
I came back to the game ( like fully raiding mode ) in 1.1.2016 so basically the expansion was over.
The Nephillim had cleared everything, and although they offered me a spot for HFC clears and upcoming Legion expansion, I wanted progress. I didn’t want to stay and farm bosses on mythic and get boosted.
So me wanting progress meant one thing. I had to move somewhere else.
Because I didn’t want to transfer my hunter from the guild, I leveled up new one on server Kazzak as horde and started looking for guild that is progressing throughout HFC heroic and later on mythic.
I was lucky enough to find people with similar background to mine ( old school players from level 60 ) and we made new guild called “Nine inches unbuffed” ( don’t laugh about the name :P ).
It was already summer, so most of the good players were gone or on vacation, but we managed to kill 10 bosses on mythic. Sadly we didn’t have 20 players stable roster to finish the expansion so we went on a one month break, waiting for Legion.
In that time my guild decided to move away from Kazzak and go to Silvermoon as Alliance.
I followed them of course, I loved my guild.
There we started raiding in Legion, but the lag was insane in the early days. I have no idea how was here in Neptulon, but there we were playing with 1k ms most of the time, with constant disconnects during the raids.
So we couldn’t progress as we were able to so it was time to transfer again.
We moved to server Ragnaros as horde again and we finally started our progress.
We renamed the guild to “Nerfed”.
We managed to clear 7/7M in Emerald Nightmare in just 2 weeks, just because we had no lag issues.
During our Trial of Valor run we had management issues, including our Raid Leader leaving the guild with no explanation what so ever.
Although we managed to kill first week Odyn and Guarm world 150 on heroic, the lack of Raid Leader was a big problem and later on we had problems with Helya on heroic and the following week with the mythic bosses.
Some core members decided to left the guild, looking for better progress and some stopped from playing.
So the guild management gave 1 month of break in the early December, waiting for Nighthold and rebuilding the guild.
I decided that I will take longer break, being bored of the constant Artifact Power farm and the spam of M+ that burned me out in the first 4 months of the game.
My current guild on Ragnaros are progressing on Guldan and although they said they want me for Tomb of Sargeras, somehow I don’t see my self playing with them anymore. Most of the good players that I was enjoying my time with are no loger there or went socials.
So when I came back to the game 3 weeks ago, like I mentioned above, I decided that after 4 years of playing hunter its time for me to find new challenge.
I was approached by my old guild Hypnotic ( who rebuild them selves ) and here I am now, playing again on Neptulon.
They needed again good healers, so I decided that I’ve never played a monk before in my life, so I want that challenge for my self.
Sadly for me, they didn’t tell me that they are planning to play casual raiding with no desire of real progress. And that’s a big problem for me.
I know most of us are older now and we can’t play as much as we used to before, but I am looking for a guild that will raid 3-4 time a week and not waste time during that raiding hours.
Which is exactly we are doing right now.
Now me being passioned again and playing with my monk I am looking for guild that shares my ambition of progress.
- Do you know how to use warcraftlogs in depth?
Yes, I am very experienced when it comes to logs. I’ve been logging for my old guild since the beginning and also it’s the thing I like to look most when it comes to improving your game.
It is not required but.. any alts?
Well, currently I have no alts that are 110 on this server, although I think I will transfer my hunter from Ragnaros. Too much history with him.
Also my rogue that I had played for so many years is here, but he is level 100.
What is your proudest moment in WoW?
Well I have a lot of them, but mostly I think is the moment where I got the 2 glaives of Azzinoth back in 2008.
Last but not least, why do you think we should recruit you? What makes you stand out?
That’s a tricky question, but I’d like to answer it this way.
No human can say for him self that he is good at something, unless the people that are surrounding him think the same way. And I think where ever I’ve been in all these years no one would say bad thing about my self or my skill as a player.
As for my self I can say one thing – dedicated and perfectionist.
If I do damage and I am not first on DPS means I am not doing something right and I need to improve.
Same goes for healing. I am never satisfied with my performance and I am constantly trying to do a bit more damage/healing when the encounter allows me so.
That’s my blessing and curse at the same time. So I am trying to improve my self and think less competitive, so I can enjoy the game more
I’d like to add one more thing at the end:
Since it’s a new hero and not much research information on him, I will add some information from my hunter so you can check it as well, if needed.
